Scenic drive to the Wairau River Reserve.
Summer Stock Sunday, scenic drive. Scenic lane to a pretty view of the Wairau River scenic reserve, where there are lots of wild native birds and a nice picnic area, great for swimming on a hot day.
Love those big rolling hills on the horizon! The fresh new branches become a beautiful accessory to the picture! Those trees provide nice summer shade!
Thank you for stopping by my blog and thank you as well for you kind words. I love to think of him visiting before leaving for the Bridge...it is quite a comfort!
Your blogs are wonderful! And you drive taxi - that is a treat. Always wanted to drive trucks but don't know how to fix them. :) So guess I will stick to being a nurse until retirement. Take care.
Of all my visits to Blenheim and Picton, I've never seen this, so will definitely be looking it up on my next photographic trip. Thanks for sharing - I like all your blogs. Great effort. If I see you in Picton, I'll shout you a coffee...
Your rainbow is intensely shaded indigo, yellow, and blue.
What is says about you: You are a joyful person. You appreciate friends who get along with one another. You share hobbies with friends and like trying to fit into their routines. Friends count on you for being honest and insightful.

Wonderful photos. I'd love to visit.
Beautiful photos.
I feel like I should get into my car and follow you out there. Such a pretty river reserve to take a cool plunge on a hot day.
